Connect Dacorum is a Community Action Dacorum project, which promotes the active involvement of Dacorum businesses to improve their Corporate Social Responsibility activities within the local community.
The remit is to continue the work of Dacorum Borough Council’s CSR project and to help to spread the word throughout Hertfordshire.
Current sponsorship is through the East of England Development Agency’s (EEDA) Investing in Communities (IIC) fund. Plus membership subscriptions from all of the companies mentioned on the Associations page. Dacorum Borough Council kindly provide free office accomodation for the project.

The first year of membership is free. This allows the business to fully appreciate the advantages of being a member. The second and subsequent years are based on the number of full time employees that the company has working in the Dacorum area. Subscriptions +VAT are paid to Community Action Dacorum and hence are free of corporation tax.

Applicable membership fee (based of the number of full time staff working in Dacorum) With the first complete year of membership being free. • £100 (1 – 10 full-time staff)
• £250 (11 – 50)
• £500 (51 – 100)
• £1000 (101 – 1000)
• £2000 (1001+) Please note that cheques for the second year and onwards are to be made payable to Community Action Dacorum
Registered charity number 288080 and hence a proportion
can be claimed back from the Inland Revenue.
