Held at the Apsley Paper Trail
On Friday 12th May 2006
The launch of the change of name of Dacorum Borough Council’s Corporate Social Responsibility project to Connect Dacorum, together with it’s reporting move changing to the Dacorum CVS, took place at a networking lunch at the Apsley Paper trail on Friday 12th May 2006.
Vinci Park is sponsoring Dacorum’s Freewheek project run by Celia Ellis. They arranged a presentation on Bicycle Safety, Cycle Proficiency and Bicycle Maintenance that was given to years 4, 5 & 6 at Barncroft School in Grove Hill.
In addition they have sponsored a Drawing and Painting competition for junior schools in Grove Hill and Woodhall Farm to create a Logo for the Freewheel Project. The winners of age groups 7 to 8 and 9 to 11 both won a new mountain bike.
Gary Thomas of Vinci Park said that he was delighted to be associated with this and future projects.
This years Dacorum Business Awards were celebrated at a black tie event at Ashlyns School at the end of August.
The Hemel Hempstead Gazette, Hillier Hopkins, Dacorum Borough Council and Kall Kwik sponsored the awards. Each of the ten categories was then sponsored individually.
